The moraine produces genuine springs and seasonal seeps, and some properties in this township have a basement problem that is not a drainage failure at all — it is a house built over moving groundwater. That situation cannot be sealed and it cannot be graded away. It needs interior drainage and a pump system designed for continuous duty, and it needs to be identified honestly rather than quoted as a membrane job that will not work.
